I really want to believe that not all gay men want to date the reincarnation of Michelangelo’s David, but I do see it a lot. A LOT. I also don’t want to believe that a white gay man can have any body type and still be desirable, but I as a white dude really don’t know, so I won’t say that’s untrue either. I can say however that I do have experience and can observe just about every other thing this person said so yeah. I feel this.
@theboywiththepurplesocks we have literally talked about most of this at least uhh I don’t know, several occasions. This also reminded me about back when I was taking life drawing, the project… She wanted us to include text in the image and it could have been anything so I used several hashtags, all related to being gay and about how, like the posts says, a community that is striving for equality and acceptance can be so toxic within. (This is also the story about how I basically came out to the entire class near the end of the semester (assuming they all didn’t know already)).
